The Sentence of 5 years in prison of Iqan Shahidi, Baha’i citizen and
educational activost has confirmed.
Based on this report, the sentence of 5 years in prison of this banned
form education baha’i student has confirmed by branch 54 of appeal
court.
From branch 28 of Revolutionary Court presided by judge Moghise,
Shahidi was formerly sentenced to 5 years in prison on charge with
"Membership in illegal group, Population of combat against
educational discrimination" and "Propaganda against regime".
According to this report, his court was full of insulting to his own
belief and him self.
Iqan Shahidi, Navid Khanjani and Sama Nourani have been arrested on
3/1/2010 charged with activities for banned form education students in
Association against educational discrimination, and transferred to
ward “2A of Sepah” in Evin Prison. On 5/10/2010 he freed on bail.
These individuals were under mental and physical pressure for doing
interview and video confession, on their arresting period in ward “2A
of Sepah”.
