Teddi Mellencamp, former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, has shared an incredibly personal moment with her followers as she prepares for emergency brain surgery. The 43-year-old wellness coach recently revealed that multiple tumors had been found on her brain, following weeks of intense headaches.
In a series of Instagram Stories shared on Wednesday, Teddi documented parts of the emotional journey, including the moment she shaved her long blonde hair down to a buzzcut before heading into surgery. Despite the gravity of the situation, Teddi stayed upbeat, joking with friends and family while maintaining a brave face.

“I didn’t have this look on my bucket list,” she laughed in a video, as her hair was shaved off by a friend. But her pals rallied around her, offering words of encouragement. One friend reassured her, “You got this, babe,” while another chimed in, “Might be your best look yet.”

Teddi’s support system was in full force as she faced this next health challenge. Alongside her were her longtime friend Kyle Richards, who’s been staying with Teddi as she navigates her divorce, and country singer Morgan Wade. Even her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, 47, was by her side.
Earlier that day, Teddi had shared with her followers that doctors had found “multiple tumors” on her brain, the result of weeks of debilitating headaches. In an Instagram post, she explained that two of the tumors would be surgically removed, while the smaller ones would be treated with radiation in the future.

This comes just two years after Teddi’s battle with stage II melanoma, the second-most dangerous form of skin cancer. In a candid message, she thanked everyone who had supported her along the way, including her medical team, friends, family, and especially her children.
In another lighter moment, Teddi teased her brother Hud Mellencamp, joking that she was pulling off the shaved head better than he does. “Once I can wash my hair and it’s not all spiky, I think I’ve taken you for a run for your money, Hud!” she quipped, encouraging a playful sibling rivalry.

While awaiting surgery, Teddi shared a heartfelt post, thanking her supporters and expressing her belief in the strength of her medical team. “It’s a hard day, but I have faith and amazing surgeons, and I know everything will be okay,” she wrote.
Through all the challenges, Teddi remains hopeful and determined, surrounded by her closest friends and family.
